Hi. My name is Clive Beard
I’ve been in sales at Discovery Ford for 28 years. I came to Canada from Bristol, England. Back then it cost me just $10 to become a Canadian citizen and it is, by far, the best investment I’ve ever made. I remember celebrating my arrival here with a cup of coffee and a doughnut. My first taste of Canada, literally. I also got an early taste of the important services available to Canadians, like the local fire department who I had to call when my son, a two year-old at the time, decided to wear a Bundt cake pan as a hat. I was told, by the way, that it was the first time in the history of the department that they had removed a cake pan from a child’s head – Bundt or otherwise. My family made history.
